"Marley's ghost? It can't be!" (p.14)

 I like Christmas very much, so I chose this book this time. This book is divided into six chapters.

Marley was dead, dead as a doornail. All that remained of the firm of Scrooge and Marley was Ebenezer Scrooge. Scrooge...a grasping, greedy, gruesome old man! He was as hard as stone, and so cold inside his face looked frozen. Scrooge didn't care for anyone and hardly anyone cared for him. Even Christmas cheer couldn't thaw his icy heart.

The door knocker on this house was not unusual, just large. But, as Scrooge put his key in the doo, the knocker put his key in the door, the knocker changed into Marley's face. Startled, Scrooge turned his key and went in. Was the back of Marley's head sticking out into the hall? No, he saw only screws. Then, slowly, something came through the door...Scrooge couldn't believe it. There was a ghost! The ghost let out a frightful cry and rattled its chains. Scrooge closed the window and checked his door. It was still locked. He was asleep in an instant...Scrooge awoke in total darkness. On the stroke of one, a hand drew back the curtain around his bed...He was face to face with the strangest creature he had ever seen.

Scrooge wake up, back in bed, as a clock struck one. He sat up nervously but nothing happened. He flung back his curtains. No one was there. But, there was a ghost of Christmas Present. They flew to quieter, emptier places...but everywhere Scrooge saw people full of Christmas spirit.

Acrooge promised to take care of Bob and his family, and he was as good as his word. To Tiny Tim―who didn't die―he was a second father. He knew laughing was good for them and his own heart laughed with them.

MR-06 Peter Pan

 Today I watched “Peter Pan”. I've never seen this cartoon film but I read this story in a

book. I can’t remember it so I watched this movie with my little sister. I will write about

this movie and about characters.

First Peter Pan is one of the most famous Disney movies. The film was screened in the

United States on February 5, 1953.

Second I will write about this movie’s story. One night Peter Pan come Wendy’s house.

He asked Wendy to become the mother of lost children and come to Never Land with

him. But she has two young brothers and she said she wanted to go with her brothers.

Their names were John and Michael. John is about 10 years old and Michael is 5. They

believe in Peter Pan and Never Land so they are glad to see him. They could come to fly

in the sky with pixie dust, then they left for Never Land. In Never Land, they met

Captain Hook. He is a pirate and he doesn’t like Peter Pan. Why doesn’t he like Peter

Pan? Captain Hook lost his left hand to Peter in the old days so he wants to kill Peter

Pan. In the last scene, Wendy, John, and Michael go back to their house. Their father

sees Peter Pan’s ship too. So I think maybe their father has been to Never Land.

My little sister and I love fantasy stories so this movie makes us happy. I want to fly

and I want to go to Wonder Land with Peter Pan and Tinker Bell. She is very cute so I

have many of Tinker Bell’s seals. When I was child, I loved Peter Pan because his looks

were very cool and he was a hero. If I have children in future, I think I want to read to

my child this story and I want to have these dreams for my children.

The Pursuit of Happiness & Erin Brockovich

Will Smith is a social outcast in this movie. He was selling medical equipment but this machine wasn’t very useful. So he decided to participate in the training program. During the training period was unpaid. People through the training period, get used to regular employees is only one person. But he never gave up and tried hard.

1. In the movie, “The “Pursuit of Happiness”, Will Smith tells his son to “never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something.”

Q.1: What do you think he meant by that? And why did he say that?

A.1: Will Smith’s son said “want to be a basketball player” but Will Smith said “you can’t”. His son was the face wounded. Will Smith tells his son to “never let anyone tell you that you can’t do something”. He wanted to tell his son, “you shouldn’t give up never even been said that it is impossible to someone”. If his son doesn’t give up, dreams come true.

2. In the movie, “The “Pursuit of Happiness”, Will Smith shows up for an interview for an internship position at a famous stock broking company wearing regular clothes and covered in paint.

Q.2: Why did he show up like that? And why did he get the internship position? What would you have done in that situation?

A.2: Will Smith was kicked out of the house because he didn’t pay the rent of the house. Morning of the next day, people who paint comes, so he was ordered to eviction. But he can’t it. He suggests that the painting himself. Landlord gave the grace of one week. When he is painted, chime sounds, and the police came. He was arrested because he didn’t pay the parking fines. Check the fine can’t accept only 9:30 in the morning of the next day and Interview start is 10:15. So he couldn’t change into suits. He talking about that thing for examiners and he spoke honestly the truth. His appeal point is honest and he finds a solution. I would give up if I was in his position.

3. In the movie, “Erin Brockovich”, Julia Roberts who plays Erin in the movie, got a job at a small law firm.

Q.3: How did she end up working there? Do you agree or disagree with her approach to getting the job?

A.3: Although judge said that trial can be win comfortably but it lost. So she said “you should give some job in this law firm” and she can get a job.
I agree with her approach to getting the job. She has three children and she is single mother. If there is no work, it is not possible to raise a child. So I think it necessary to get a job in a manner somewhat aggressive approach.

4. In the movie, “Erin Brockovich”, Julia Roberts talks about life not always turning out the way we expect it to.

Q.4: What do you think she meant by that? Give examples from the movie?

A.4:  Erin once won some beauty contest but now, she is single. She was thought to be happy old days. That thing is not good for her children so she talks about life not always turning out the way we expect it to.

5. Both movies are true stories about people who were able to overcome extreme financial hardships.

Q.5: Why do you think the protagonists of these two movies were able to win over their circumstances? Give specific examples from the movies.

A.5: They didn’t give up to become happy, so they were able to win over their circumstances.
Frist I will write about “Pursuit of Happiness”. He did not give up even homeless and he worked hard for his child. So Will Smith and his son will be happy end.
“Erin Brockovich” is made ​​an effort for people who got sick by pollution. She worked hard at the time of sick.

 I like my junior high school memory. My favorite junior high school memory is a chorus concert. Our class did my best when I was third junior high school student. Friends~☆

 My treasure is a lot of friends. I have a lot of friends, and there are the friends of my circle, other circles of Gakushou Gakkai, and students from tne English course in Kumamoto Gakuen University. I also have a lot of local friends, and some friends I met bonding over my hobby in the past.

 I often play with my circle friends, or other circle friends. I rarely play with friends from English course, so I just play with my circle members or other circle members. We often go to play to bowl, sing karaoke, drive, visit hot springs, or drink. When I go somewhere, I drive my car, and my friends ride in my car. After that, we leave. When we drink, we go to a bar, or a pub. We also drink at my friend’s house. I enjoy playing and drinking with my friends. I love my Gakushou Gakkai's friends.

 My local junior high school is Mashiki Junior high school, I have a lot of friends in Mashiki. Then I  sometimes go to downtown to drink. I do not meet my local friends often, so when I meet my local friends, I become happy. But I sometimes am nervous. This year, I became an adult, so I participated in a coming-of-age ceremony. After that I participated in a junior high school reunion. Then a lot of friends came there, there are friends I met after such a long time of not seeing them. I was happy, but I was little nervous.

 Everyone has a lot of friends, and there are friendships. We had better cherish our friends. We have things we cannot do without friends, such as playing or drinking. It is more interesting than doing lonely. Also if I have an accident, friends might well help me. I helped my friend when he was involved in an accident. So there is value for having trusted friends. Friendship is beautiful.

My hometown

 My hometown is Mashiki town. My hometown is very famous, because there is an airport. In Kumamoto, we often use the airport in Mashiki, when we travel to other places. There are a lot of famous foods in the airport. I think that the watermelon is the best in Kumamoto. Mashiki’s watermelon is very delicious. The taste is very sweet. But KUMAMON goods are popular now too. KUMOMON is Kumamoto’s character. It is very cute.

 There is a Grand Messe in my hometown. Many events are held in the Grand Messe. Suche as MOYAIICHI, concerts, and flea markets. First, many people sell homemade vegetables. Everyone is calling this event “MOYAIICHI”. I joined in this event, when I was an elementary school student. I sold sweet potatoes with my elementary school friends.

 Next, there are a lot of artist concerts. Many singers’ concerts are held in this hall. Most Japanese singers visit Grand Messe. The group of Johnny's often comes to Grand Messe. News’s concert are held in this place too. If I have a chance, I want to go to the concert, because I have never gone to a concert. Someday I want to go to a BUMP OF CHIKIN’s concert in Grand Messe.

 Finally, a flea markets are often held in Grand Messe. Many people bring used goods. I think that it is very good idea, because many things are reused. I have never joined this event but I want to join this event.

 All people are very kind to everybody in my hometown. Everyone always greets each other. All people are very friendly in my home town. I think that my hometown is a very warm place. Also, the air in my hometown is refreshing. We are living a leisurely life in my country. I love my hometown. Please visit my home town.

 The best day of my life is my birthday, because I do a lot of fun things. My birthday is September. I am very glad to have my birthday then, because everyone celebrates with me every year.

 I usually eat dinner with my family on my birthday. I am living at my home with my father, mother and younger sister, but my grandfather, my grandmother, my uncle and my aunt come to my home on that day. We eat some foods that my mother cooks. I usually decide on my birthday dinner’s menu. My family’s rule is the main person decides the day’s dinner. We usually have a big cake every year. It is very delicious. I am happy, when I eat cake with my family. We talk about interesting topics. In my family, we can't gather at dinner time, because everybody is always busy. I am very　happy, when my family gathers at my home. I feel very pleasant, when I spend time　with my family. I think that my family is very important for my life.

 I sometimes spend time with my friends on my birthday. I am impressed every time, because my friends surprise me. My friends hold a party for me. I am very glad, because I can see a lot of friends at the party. My friends give me some presents. They are very cute every year. The presents from my friends are my treasure now. I think that my friends are very important for my life.

Coach Carter

 “Coach Carter” is the nonfiction movie about one of Basketball team. This team was on the verge of collapse. But Coach Carter’s method changed player’s thinking and their life. And I answered 5 questions and stated my opinion as follows.
 

Q.1 How does Coach Carter accomplish positive change and how are how are his methods similar and/or different from Erin Gruwell's ( Freedom Writers ) methods. Give examples and details from the movie.

A.1 Compare Coach Carter’s method with Erin Gruwell’s method, I found similar point. It’s both give problem for players(students) and settled it. Player(students) thinking about problem and noticed their answer. For example, Coach Carter is gave hard practice for students and players noticed valuable of teammate, and Erin Gruwell is gave “Anne’s Diary” for student, and got hold various thinking. And Different point is Coach Carter has Sparta training. He gave heavy punishment if players late for practice. And Grin Gruwell is not Sparta training. She is gave top priority to student’s thinking things and helped it.

 Q.2 What were the main items of the contact? And why do you think Coach Carter had the players sign such a contact before they could play? Do you agree or disagree with this?

 A.2 Main items of contract is attend all of their classes and maintain a respectable grade point average.　I think he wanted to keep the simple rules they have to follow. I agree with this. Because, Coach Carter wished every players go to university easily or more cheap money. So, he planned this rule.

3. When Coach Carter found out that over half of his team was failing he suspended all practice sessions and forfeited the followoing games.

 Q.3 Why do you think he did that? What does the expression, "student-athlete mean?" Do you agree or disagree with the meaning of this expression?

 A.3 Because, he wanted grow up study and basketball through contract. Coach Carter said “student” comes first. I think student’s main work is study. So, he said so that. And I agree with the meaning of this expression. Because, study is important for living and people judge a person from school background or achievements past. So he wanted grow up players to take player’s place in adult society.

4. At various times throughout the movie, Coach Carter asks Cruz, "what is your deepest fear young man?"

 Q.4 What do you think Coach Cater meant by that? How does Cruz answer Coach Carter and what do you think his answer means?

 A.4 I think Coach Carter wanted got noticed players, they can do it. Each player has each ability and if every ability made one, it is make the strongest power. Cruz answered “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure”. His answer mean is players perseverance moving all around people for better or worse. Sometimes they makes all around people happy and sometimes makes discouraged. So they have to shine for other people and as they are liberated from their own fear, their presence automatically liberates others.

5. At the end of the movie during the locker room scene Coach Carter tells his team that he failed to meet his objectives for the basketball season.

 Q.5 What did he mean by that? Give specific examoles from the movie.

 A.5 Coach Carter came to coach basketball players, and they became students and he came to teach boys and they became men. What they achieved goes way beyond the win-loss column, or what’s gonna be written on the front page of the sports section tomorrow.They have achieved something that some people spend their whole lives trying to find. What you achieved is that ever-elusive victory within.

 Freedom writers” is the nonfiction movie. This movie’s hero is one of class. This class is 203.They were quarrel of each race and it made classroom teacher’s Erin Gruwell harassed. But her perseverance changed student. They did any action and changed thinking. Her education changed any student’s life. This movie is like that. And I answered 5questions and stated my opinion as follows.

Q.1 What do you think she meant when she said "It looks like this, one tribe drifting quietly to another's territory without respect, as if to claim what isn't theirs. An outsider looking in woula never see it, but we could feel it. Something was coming." Give examples and details from the movie.

A.1 I think we have different tribes, and all of them divided into separate section and depending on tribes. There’s Little Cambodia, The Ghetto, Wonder Bread Land, South of the Border or Little Tijuana. But this way is wrong. Each people might different accent or eyes color and skin color and so on. However we must to alive in corporation. Even if different outward appearance, it is character I think.

Q.2 What is voluntary integration? And what did some of the Wilson High School teachers think about voluntary integration? Do you agree or disagree with th eattitudes these teachers? why? Include details from the movie.

A.2 Voluntary integration is about riot in Los Angeles. Wilson High School teacher said “Integration’s a lie. We can’t say that or we lose our jobs for being racist.” I disagree with attitudes these teachers. Because, I thought riot in Los Angeles was not success. After all, this matter happened cause anger of Negro and why did they felt indignation. The reason is treating for Negro by Caucasian. And only African’s high unemployment rate and so on. Using force is not good. But Caucasian wouldn’t listen to Negro’s argument and Caucasian hadn’t doubt in the world own argument is sound argument. So this way is final way to sue Caucasian.

Q.3 What do you think Miep Gies was trying to say to the students when she said this? How do you think you could put this statement into statement into practice in your own life?

A.3 I thought we can turn on a small light in dark room and like a Miep Gies, even if different races must help for each other. And I will start job hunting. It is not easy to find job. Maybe I can’t pass at first. But I must get job finally. I can turn on small right myself.

Q.4 What was the purpose of doing a toast for change? Do you think it was effective in helping th e students? Use details from the movie to support your answer.

A.4 They are each gonna make a toast for change. And what that mean is from this moment on, every voice that told you ”You can’t “ is silent. Every reason that tells you things will never change, disappear. Now it’s you turn. I think it is got courage and confidence each, and that is change thinking of student for the person you were before this moment that person’s turn is over.

Q.5 Why did the students decide to call their book "Freedom Writers"? Give specific examples from the movie.

A.5 Erin Gruwell told us we have something to say to people. They were writers with their own voices, their own stories, And even if nobody else read it, the book would be something to leave behind that said they were here, this is happened, they mattered.

Dear Rio...

Hello, I’m Rio. I’m forty one years old. I am married now. I have two daughters and a son. My husband is forty one years old now too. My eldest daughter is a third grade student in junior high school. My second daughter is a first grade student in junior high school. My son is fourth grade in elementary school. I have a dog. I love my family.

   

     I got a job after I graduated at KGU. I am doing work using English. Even now, I love English. My dream was working in a big hotel, but I am working in a small company now. My company needs English. I always speak English. I think that I am good now because I studied English when I was a university student. English is very important for my life now.

     In my home, I always do my housework. I couldn't cook before, but now I am good at it. My hobby is cooking. I always cook my husband’s lunch. My husband takes a lunchbox to the office. My daughters and son usually eat a school lunch.

     Another hobby is piano. I play the piano when I have free time. I can refreshed. I sometimes teach the piano for my children. My children like piano. It is very pleasant because we play a duet on a piano. I think that piano is needed for my life.

     I am doing my best housekeeping and work with both of them every day. I am very happy now because there is my family. I am glad because I live a full life now. I think that I want to be friendly with my family forever.

MR-05 Mrs. Doubtfire

 Today I watched “Mrs. Doubtfire”. I have watched this movie second time. Frist I will write about this movie and about characters.

"Mrs. Doubtfire" is American comedy movie in 1993. The husband Daniel who is unpopular actor

dressed up as a maid named Mrs. Doubtfire. Daniel and his wife divorced because he don’t have work. So his wife has some stress. Daniel was robbed a right of bringing up children by Miranda, because he wasn't unable to earn his own living. He could meet children once a week in restricted time. Why did Daniel in drag? I think he love his children so he wants to meet every day. This is a film which we can laugh and feel family and a parent’s love. Daniel’s older brother is a makeup artist in this story. He makes Mrs. Doubtfire’s face and body. He said that looks like their mother. That’s very interesting and wonderful!! Robin Williams dressed up a woman who around 60, and he won an Academy make-up award.

 I will write about Robin Williams. He is a comedian is the United States. He film debut in “Popeye”. He has won the award of a lot. I will want to see his play so I’m going to rental.

I like comedy films, so I enjoyed this time. This story make me happy feeling. I love Daniel’s character because he is a good father and like my father. Our brother are loved by our father too. So I remembered my father. He lives is Tokyo on business so we aren’t able to meet most of the time. He comes back to Kumamoto to year-end and New Year holidays so we talk a lot of thing with him.

I was very attracted by this movie. It was a good movie for me. I recommend that everyone watch this movie.

MR-04 Rent

 Today I watched a musical Rent. I have never watched it. Frist I will write about this musical and the other.
 Rent is a musical of the United States of America. This musical’s first stage is February 13th, 1996. In New York Theatre Workshop, Off-Broadway. The musical seemed to have a long run of 5140 performances for 12 years 4 months, then the curtain fell on the last scene on September 7, 2008. This musical was made into a movie in Hollywood!!! And the movie was screened at a theatre on April in Japan.
 Stage of the story, is one year of the East Village of New York since December 24th, 1989. This story has a lot of character. What is common to them, they are poor. The story’s main people are Roger and Mark. They're roommates but they don’t have money. So they can’t pay rent. If they can’t pay rent, they eviction from the building.
 In this story character have a lot of thing. For example Roger, Mimi, Collins and Angel have HIV. There are gay, lesbian, a heroin addict, and they have a positive reaction of HIV many of them. This musical was written about signs of the time of New York in the end of 1980’s and “lost Bohemian East Village” skillfully. In 1996, “Rent” was nominated for many awards, and this musical won many prizes.
 This movie comes out a lot of song and dance. Because it is advanced with a lot of song, it can be understood to smooth the contents of the story. I love musical so I go to musical by theater company ”Season”. Ever, I've seen the work of approximately 10. “Cats” is one of the most favorite. I love musical so I want to see the musical live and recommend that everyone watch it.

MR-03 The Sixth Sence

Today I watched a movie “The Sixth Sence”.  I have never watched this movie. Frist I will write about this movie.

The Sixth Sence is an American horror movie in 1999. This movie was nominated for an award for a work, an award for a director, an award for a scenario, an award for the best supporting actor and actress. The hero of this story is the boy and child psychologist. The boy has a power to see a dead people, his name is Cole Sear. Child psychologist’s name is Malcolm Crowe. He supports Cole on this story and once saved many children from mentally ill. One day a man came Malcolm’s house and said “You couldn’t save me.”. After that Malcolm was shot by the man. Scene has changed, Malcolm came to in charge of Cole Sear. Cole trust Malcolm finally, he was talking about his secret. According to his talk, he seemed to have the sixth sence. He can see a dead person. The general public don’t have this feeling, so he was frightened by this thing. Because of this sence, Cole was treated "monster", as a "child unorthodox" from the teacher and other children in his school. At first, Malcolm could not believe, but he finally believed Cole’s words. He started investigating the reason why dead person appear in front of Cole.

This movie was produced by M. Night Shyamalan. He is 29 when produced it.

Finally I try to introduce the performer in this movie. Walter Bruce Willis is the leading actor. He was born in Germany, 1955. His debut film is "heaven and earth". Haley Joel Osment is this movie’s supporting actor. He was born in Los Angeles, 1998. he made a movie debut in 1994. After 5 years, he was nominated for an award for the best supporting actor in an Academy Award when he appeared “The Sixth Sence”.

This story is very difficult for me so I try watch a lot. I don’t like horror movies because I will not be able to go to bed. But this story is very interesting so I recommend that everyone watch this movie.

 Do you know Aesop’s Fables? I think that it is the most famous story in the world. The book is small but there are many stories. The most famous story in this book is “The tortoise and the hare”. I had read the story when I did English Central. The book has 8 proverb. For example, in tortoise and the hare, there is the proverb which is “Slow but sure can win the race”. In the other, in The thirsty crow, Try hard enough and you will get what you want. In the dog and the bone is Be happy with you have. There are easy stories in this book. You can study foreign story in this book. I recommend it.

 I chose this book! This book is "Sleeping Beauty". I watched this movie (Disney). This princess is very cute, so I wanted to become a princess...This book is divided into six chapters.
Many years ago, a king and queen lived in a magical castle. They had everything they could want except...a baby. Year after year, the queen stitched and sewed tiny clothes. And the king made toys in his palace workshop. But still there was no baby. However, she was soon blessed with her baby. She was named Rose.The king was so pleased he planned a feast to celebrate.  As Jasmine hovered over the cradle, a blast of icy air swept through the Great Hall. Suddenly, the mean fairy Nightshade appeared in a whirlwind of foul green smoke.  I chose this book because this book is very cute picture. I was very exciting when I saw this book’s cover. This book’s robots are very useful. I thought that I want to get tidybot. I always thinking about to clean my room, but I can’t clean my room. So, I think that this robot is very useful. I want to use this book’s robot.

 I chose this book, because this book is very cute picture. I understood Billy’s feelings, because I thought that the classmate make fun of me. This book’s baby is very cute and tomboy. I thought that the school‘s new girl, Clare looked spiteful, but thanks to baby, she became friendly with her classmates. I am very good feelings because I thought that Clare is very happy.
I was interested when Jasmine had a paintbrush. I thought that she would shake the paintbrush at people around her. As a result, she shook it. I was glad, because my expectation proved right. I think that Jasmine is genius, because thanks to her, Billy’s classmates united. I want to have a chance like this. So, I want to the baby come to my school. If the baby comes to school, how do you spend with the baby? Please read this book.

 I find the interesting book which name is The Revealing Story of Underwear. Have you ever had the question how is in the dress when you watch the foreign movie? The dress is so beautiful. I had been to the Palace of Versailles and I had watched the movie which was made in there. It is gorgeous so I want to wear such a dress once. There is more to underwear than frilly lace. It can keep you warm and stop you from getting embarrassed and it can help to keep your other clothes clean. Centuries ago, people did not wash that often. Underwear can also give a certain shape to clothes. It can help people get the figure they would like. Thorough history, fashions have changed from wide hips to flat chest to pointy breasts. I think that the form of underwear is the fashions of the age. By now, “closed” drawers were catching on. These were drawers with the seams sewn up between the legs. People called them knickerbockers-knickers for short. I think that it is similar to the underwear today.
 In the 16th century, the age of small waists and curvy hips began. To force their figures into this hourglass shape, women needed special underwear. It is bodice which was also known as stays, though by the end of 18th century they were called corsets. It is very popular but they were also expensive, since each one had to be stitched by hand.

 We can understand about underwear to use the picture of last page. It is very interesting for me to learn it.

Birthday around the World

  Everybody has a birthday. Many children in other countries celebrate their birthdays like children in the United States. They have a birthday cake, gifts, and sometimes a birthday party for friends. Friends and family gather around a table with a birthday cake on it. They sing “Happy Birthday to You.” Two American sisters wrote this song in 1893, but people still sing this song today! The birthday cake usually has lighted candles on it, one candle for each year of your life. The birthday child makes a wish and then blows out all the candles. If the child blows out the candles in one breath, the wish will come true. Other countries have different customs.

My comfort foods

  I have two comforts food. Frist is litchi sherbet. I can eat it in my favorite Chinese restaurant. I eat it about once a month. It makes me feel refreshed. I like litchis too. They have a lot of vitamins to keep our health and figure so I eat it. Second I like pork. I like meat but I don’t like beef so much. I love pork and chicken. If I can eat them, I get over my cold. I eat grilled slices of meat, after I had a test. It makes my mother and hot sauce taste. Eating meat is my vigor source. I want to eat meat every day but I can’t. Because I’m dieting now.

BR2-09 The Three Little Pigs

I chose this book, because I didn't know this story. I thought that I want to know this stroy, and this pictures anre very cute!
Once upon a time, there ware three little pigs...Pinky, Percy and Poppy. (I didn't know their name...) They lived with their mother in a pretty little house, but the little pigs grew too big. Three little pigs thought that we want homes of our own, so they packed their bags and waved goodbye.
The three little pigs trotted along until...they met a man selling straw. (I thought that they met a wolf!) Pinky Pig worked very fast. He made four straw walls a straw roof and a straw door. Then he put down a soft straw floor. Then he went inside and shut the door.
Percy and Poppy Pig trotted on until...they met a man selling sticks. Then he went inside and shut the door. Poppy Pig trotted on until...she saw some bricks for sale. Poppy Pig worked hard. At last. the bricks house was finished!
The next day, the Big Bad Wolf went to the straw house. They ran as fast as he could to the stick house. The wolf was just behind him. They rushed in Poppy Pig's house. The wolf huffed and he puffed and he huffed and he puffed. he puffed and he huffed and he puffed...! He huffed and puffed until...! He ran out of puff. Three little pigs laughed the three little pigs. And that was the ends of the Big Bad Wolf!
I sometimes surprised about this story, because the Big Bad Wolf appears on the Three Little Pigs. But, they won him!

My Best Medicine

  People say that laughing is really good for us. Today, there are laughter clubs around the world. Do you know it club? It is started in India. Laughter club’s participants are only laughing because they believe laughing is the best medicine. I don’t want to join a laughter club because I can lough loudly every day and I can’t laugh without jokes. I think jokes are very important to laugh. When I meet my friends, I always laugh, but I can’t laugh in my house because I don’t simply dislike my parents. They lecture a person persistently every day. When I go back my home, I have a stomachache. So I usually call my friends when I can’t bear this pain. Laughter club’s participants believe laughing is the best medicine, but I think my best medicine is to talk with my friends.

A Place I Have Visited

 Today I will write a place i have visited. I've never go abroad so I'll write about in Japan. My family like travel so we went to a lot of place. My favorite place is Kyoto. I love this place because this place's view is very beautiful. Arashiyama have a beautiful colored leaves. My mother like it too so we went to there. Kyoto have a lot of good foods. Powdered green tea and Yathuhasi are my favorite food. I want to go Kyoto once more in autumn.

TH-14 My favorite noodles

My favorite noodles are spaghetti and udon. I like noodles so much. So I like ramen, buckwheat noodles, noodles stewed with meat and vegetables and so on. But especially I like spaghetti and udon. I'd like to talk about spaghetti first. I work at Italian restaurant because I like spaghetti. When I went to job interview, I thought that if I work there I might eat spaghetti sometimes. Now, I eat spaghetti sometimes. Especially I like cream sauce! The chef cooks delicious cream sauce spaghetti when I request. Next, I'd like to talk about udon. Especially I like put edible wild plants or egg or okra and natto in udon. So when I go to eat udon, I order such udon. I like chewy udon better than nothing. My favorite udon’s restauran are Hanamaru Udon and Marukame Seimen. Hanamaru Udon is in Shimo Tori. They have some delicious menu. Hanamaru Udon’s price is very cheap. So I often go there when I have part time job.

TH-13 My favorite music

My favorite music is Japanese rock. I love BUMP OF CHICKEN and RADWIMPS. They are very cool. This year, I went to BUMP OF CHICKEN's live in Fukuoka Marin Messe with my friend. Many people came there and my classmate come there too. Their music and lyrics are very good! It makes me happy. I went to RADWIMPS' live last year. RADWIMPS was more impassion than BUMP OF CHICKEN. BUMP's songs were chosen dramas and movies. RAD too. They have many people's backing. And I love another group, it is SHINee. The group has 5 members and they are actors but they are energetic in many place as an artist. I went to their live in Fukuoka. Women mainly came in the live. We were very enjoyed by them. The performance was very good. I want to go their live again. In this connection, I like Taylor Swift in foreign music.

BR 2-08 Frog and Toad Are Friends

I have a reason why I choosed this book. I have read this story in Japanese. I liked this story very much. I used to read this book in the librally when I was an elementary school student. When I found this book in KGU librally, I remembered my elementary school memories.
Frog and Toad were very good friends. They spened a lot of time. They helped each other. I thought it was a real friendship. When Tore was not fine, Frog cheered him very hard. And Tore looked for his lost button together. If I were Tore, I would be very happy.I think friends are very important person for everyone. I'll be kind for my friends.
